Shipping policy
At Jamesia Blooms, we pride ourselves on ensuring your flowers and gifts arrive in pristine condition. Whether it’s a hand-delivered local bouquet or a signature wreath shipped across the UK, every order is handled with professional care.
1. Local Fresh Flower Delivery (DT3, DT4 & DT5)
To ensure our fresh blooms arrive in peak condition, our fresh seasonal collections are available exclusively for local hand-delivery:
• Postcodes: DT3, DT4 & DT5 (Weymouth, Portland, and Dorchester).
• Fees: Delivery is available for a fixed fee, calculated at checkout.
• Safe Place & Doorsteps: While we aim for person-to-person delivery, we can leave flowers in a designated "safe place" or on a doorstep at the customer’s request. Please note that once flowers are left in your requested location, it is at the customer's own risk. Jamesia Blooms is not responsible for any loss or damage that occurs after the items have been delivered as requested.
2. Nationwide UK Shipping (Artificial & Gift Collections)
Our luxury artificial flowers, handcrafted wreaths, and home fragrance collections are shipped across Mainland UK.
• Courier: National orders are dispatched via DPD on a Tracked 48-Hour service.
• Tracking: You will receive a 1-hour delivery slot and live tracking updates. Please ensure a valid mobile number and email are provided at checkout.
• Exclusions: We do not currently ship to Northern Ireland.
3. Order Processing & Cut-off Times
• Fresh Delivery: Orders received before 10:00 AM (Monday–Saturday) are eligible for same-day local delivery.
• Handcrafted Items: As some of our luxury wreaths and bespoke designs are crafted to order, please allow 2 business days for dispatch.
• Weekend Orders for faux designs: Orders placed after midday on Friday or over the weekend will be processed on the following Monday.
4. Delivery Responsibility & Accuracy
• Courier Delays: While we strive for timely delivery, we cannot be held responsible for unexpected courier delays (such as extreme weather or seasonal peaks). However, we remain responsible for your goods until they reach you; please contact us if your tracking shows a significant issue.
• Accuracy: We cannot be held liable for failed deliveries due to incorrect address details provided at checkout. If a remake or redelivery is required due to a customer address error, the cost of the new item and shipping will be charged to the customer.
5. Local Shop Pickup
Free local pickup is available from our shop in St Mary Street, Weymouth. You will be contacted when your order is ready for collection, if you haven’t previously arranged a time for pick-up.
